Anxious and excited about giving my first international talk in Seoul this November.

This hit home to me big time and is something that I've been trying to practice for a long time. Seeing this in Hwangssabu's quotes for today was an affirmation of the feelings I've been feeling but could not verbalise.

Today was a Monday. 

Any other dreadful work day. 

But today, I got the chance to meet someone exceptional. 

I met Isay Alvarez-Seña and she is one amazing woman.  A woman with a cause just exudes something so beautiful that goes way over and beyond what the eye can see.  She is a person dealing with leukaemia and no, it does not show on her, physically, mentally, emotionally.  She handles herself with such grace and regality, you would not suspect that she's going through that. 

She is an advocate of promoting Philippine theatre.  Being a seasoned theatre actress herself who's starred numerous plays here and even playing in Miss Saigon… You could say she's got loads under her belt.  She says if only Filipinos would just balance their interest between local productions and foreign ones… She isn't even all purist about it because she says she also enjoys going to Broadway herself… 

It's truly inspiring meeting people that inspire, spark a glimmer of fire in me.

Be proactive!

I've been trying to be more proactive and be more of a busybody... it's giving me energizing happy hormones. I don't know if this is good in the long run...

Trying to be a good leader... Still working on it.

i'm not the best planner/leader but i will sure try my best...

good people around me and i really want to make improvements so that these good people will not be unhappy and burnt out.

A day in the life...

Today was a pretty cool day... I feel fulfilled. 

I met with this Brazilian Chemical Engineer as she lectured our team about the skin structure and how hydration and moisturization works in the scientific level to keep the skin youthful... Hardcore cool stuff.

Made me wanna study chemical engineering..... Or not. Haha

So, today is one of those days... It's one of those sniff days...

I had to sniff a total of 10 liters of essential oil just to determine if they're up to standard.... of course got totally dizzy after that I forgot that it was already time to eat.


But I think.... because of the lemongrass high.. It inspired me to create one of the shades in the green eyeshadow palette that's set for the holidays!


Ta-da!

When I was mixing it, I got a bit scared as it turned to a weird, unbecoming shade of poop green... But as I added the liquid stuff, it turned to the shade I hoped it would :)

I think this green palette will be my lucky palette... So much nicer than the Shrek green I made yesterday!

I shall wear this tomorrow!
