one of the things i hate the most is people criticizing and being negative about things in the Philippines.

Classic example is the new Department of Tourism campaign.

Seriously? If you don't have anything nice to say, then shut your trap. Complaining about it will not bring progress and change in the Philippines. Seriously? What do you get from bashing? People thinking you know better? It just makes you look stupid.



Call me an idealist but I have great hope that there will be changes in the coming years if we just all work together to bring our country up. Let's all work together to improve our country's image, not our own personal image. At the end of the day, people outside will still see us a Filipino, not Camille Meloto, or not Juan dela Cruz.

I strongly believe that it's an effective campaign - not only for tourists to want to go to the Philippines, but for most importantly for Filipinos... It's as if it's an exercise for us to rediscover and appreciate all the beauty there is about our country and our people that we have forgotten about.
